A letter to the one whom rides it with me.

I wish I could explain it to you eloquently. Please understand nine times out of ten, it's not you. You look so frustrated I have told you nothings wrong. But, please for a minute understand I hate you worrying. Everything changed the day you said you wanted me, I know you've also never had to deal with someone like me. I keep repeating 'less mentally ill, more mentally chill.' Some days that sentence works others not so much. So when you walk through the door and see me stressed, see me teary and see me at my wits end, hold me. Don't get mad when I say nothings wrong. Obviously, something is. Those demons that come with Anxiety and Depress

Drops in the Ocean

I hear a gulp, a heaving breath and an incoherent jumble of words. I look up and across the road is a mess of a girl, red faced and sobbing, stumbling along as if the effort of picking up one foot after the next is too monumental for her broken soul to bear. As if she feels my inquiring gaze, she looks up abruptly and our eyes meet over a sea of traffic. One glance, that’s all it is, but it’s enough to bring a tear to my eye. My heart is pulling me towards this girl because deep down, I feel that something is wrong; and nobody should have to feel that bad alone. I bid to reach her, but I am too late; the road is filled with a mil

Fixed Match

"You've got ten minutes. That's five minutes each. Amaze me." They stared at her miserably. The two victims seemed to be floating, in awkward positions, in some sort of a transparent state. One of them still had a metal pole running through his middle, while the other could swear he still felt his darned useless airbag crushing his ribs. They assumed it was a 'her' because of the sound of her voice. She was wearing a white, baggy leather jumpsuit with a zip across the front, and a helmet with a darkened visor. Crossing her arms, she began tapping her foot. The victims however weren't too sure what surface she was tapping it against. &#

The Warm Plague. Prologue

"He who casts the first stone into the sea of the dead shall fall siege to its waves" ~J.R.Y        The first days of spring were like any other year, the sun bringing the land back to life. The blossoming plants filling the air with their sweet scent. Everything was normal except for some odd reports of violent attacks on the news, but no one paid any mind to them. Then one day it all fell apart, kids were at school, people were at work. Nothing strange had been on the news that morning; the virus had spread fast and mostly undetected. Modern transportation spreading it all over the world before it has become too noticeable. Then suddenly
